Overview · Updated July 2026AI agencies in Vienna, compared.
Most “best AI agency Vienna” lists are written by agencies that put themselves in first place. This overview works differently: five Viennese agencies with real AI services, sorted alphabetically, with criteria instead of a ranking. We are on the list ourselves - and we tell you when another agency is the better fit.
- Alphabetical instead of ranked: whoever sits at the top owes it to the alphabet, not to self-promotion.
- Every claim comes from the agencies' own public websites, as of July 2026.
- agentsie publishes this page and is listed on it - clearly labelled rather than pretending to be neutral.
MethodologyHow this overview was compiled.
We included agencies based in Vienna that publicly offer AI services - from GEO to chatbots to AI workflows. All information comes from the agencies' own websites (as of July 2026), and each one is linked directly. Sorting is alphabetical and there is no scoring: which agency fits depends on your task, not on a star scale.

ProfilesWhat sets each agency apart.
01agentsie1040 Vienna · agentsie.at · Publisher of this page
The youngest agency on this list (founded 2026) - and the only one built AI-first from the ground up: website, blog, glossary and funnel run on our own AI systems in daily production, with human review. Add a free AI visibility check and transparent package pricing. A good fit if you are an SME that wants marketing as a running system rather than a stack of projects - and you prefer a young team with verifiable systems of its own over a long reference list.
02Combines an established full-service marketing agency with genuine AI development: chatbots, custom tools and their own machine-learning models, GDPR focus included. The reference list reaches Coca-Cola, UNIQA and Die Presse. Engagements start with a workshop followed by a clear scope and cost recommendation. A good fit if you are a larger organisation looking to combine custom AI development with agency support.
03iGrow1010 Vienna · igrow.at
The narrowest specialist on the list: exclusively visibility in AI search systems (GEO) plus SEO and content strategy, with a clear B2B and SaaS focus. As Edin Cerimagic's sole proprietorship it is deliberately boutique - you work directly with the owner. A good fit if you are B2B or SaaS and want to build AI search visibility without a full-service package.
04Over 15 years of agency experience and a settled team of around eleven people - the most classic full-service foundation on this list, with its own AI arm: AI workflows from marketing through sales to customer care, plus a dedicated GEO offering and training. A good fit if you want an established Viennese agency covering website, marketing and AI from one team.
05KOMMA991100 Vienna · komma99.at
The strongest SEO track record on the list: more than ten years, over 500 projects and consistently excellent Google reviews. AI here mainly means visibility in Google AND AI search, plus SEO copy written to be picked up by LLMs. One of only two agencies on the list with public pricing (SEO from EUR 1,399 per month). A good fit if SEO is your core channel and you want clear prices before the first call.
ProcurementSix situations that lead companies to this page.
Since July 2026 people describe their entire situation to AI search systems instead of typing a keyword. The six situations below come verbatim from search queries that brought companies to us. If yours is among them, the answer is right underneath.
01The monitoring runs, but nobody looks at it
A prompt monitoring tool has been measuring for months, and still nobody derives any action from it. This is the most common case in our data. The cause is almost never the tool, it is a missing translation: a dashboard tells you that you appear in 12 out of 40 answers, but not which text on which page is missing. What helps is a fixed rhythm with three columns: where we are named, where someone else is named instead, and which single page we change this month. Anyone who can do that internally does not need an agency. Anyone who has been putting it off for three months needs someone who owes the action, not the measurement.
02In your market the assistants always cite the same trade portals
A recurring pattern: AI answers in an industry keep pointing at two or three portals, and your own website never appears. That is not a ranking problem, it is a sourcing problem. Answer systems favour pages that make a claim with a number, a date and a traceable origin, and trade portals do that structurally more often than vendor sites. The way in runs through your own data: what you can measure and publish from your own operations, nobody else can cite. That is slower than a campaign and lasts longer.
03Large DACH agencies are on your shortlist
If names like Evergreen Media, Peak Ace or Claneo are on your list, you are comparing two different things. Large firms bring process, team depth and references at a scale we do not have. In return you usually work with an account team there, not with the people who build. The honest question is not who is better, but how much steering you want to do yourself. If you want to hand over a mandate and sign it off quarterly, a large firm is right. If you want to decide alongside every week, that route is expensive and slow.
04Leadership wants numbers before releasing budget
The board or management asks how present you are in AI answers, and wants a single number. Three hold up: the share of test questions in which your brand is named, the share in which a competitor appears instead, and the number of your pages that AI systems are even allowed to read. You can get the third one yourself today, no help needed. The first two need a fixed question set repeated identically every quarter, otherwise you are comparing noise with noise.
05Buy a tool or hire an agency
This question almost always comes from SaaS and software companies: is a monitoring subscription enough, or do you need someone who acts. Our answer is inconvenient for us: if you have a team that can produce content itself, buy the tool and skip the agency. A subscription costs a fraction of a retainer. An agency only pays off once the work stalls because nobody has time, or once technical work is involved that your team does not do. Measuring is cheap, acting is expensive, and only the second one changes anything.
06Test small before committing
Many want to try an agency on a manageable package before a longer engagement starts. We think that is right, and it is also the best filter against salespeople. Watch for three things: that it ends with a result you own and can keep using without the agency, that the scope is fixed in writing beforehand, and that there is no notice period on the test. With us that is the Blueprint workshop at EUR 2,500 one-off. After that you can implement it yourself, and some do.
The six situations come from anonymised search queries in our own Search Console, 23 July to 19 August 2026. Nothing is stated about the agencies named here that cannot be read on their own websites. We publish this page and are listed on it ourselves, which is why this sits here and not in the fine print.
Beyond Vienna, still worth knowing.
AN Digital (Bregenz) specialises in enterprise SEO and LLM visibility for mid-market and enterprise companies and appears in many Austrian AI agency lists - for Viennese SMEs it is rarely the first port of call though. And if you know Smarter World from older lists: the agency has repositioned and no longer presents itself as an AI marketing agency.
FAQCommon questions about choosing an agency.
Which is the best AI agency in Vienna?
Honest answer: there is no best one, only the right one for your task. For custom AI development, Blue Monkeys is a strong choice; for SEO with clear pricing, KOMMA99; for a pure AI search focus, iGrow; for full service with an AI arm, inconcepts; for AI-first marketing as a running system, us. Be sceptical of lists where the agency writing them happens to sit in first place.
What does an AI agency in Vienna cost?
Most Viennese agencies only quote on request. Public reference points, as of July 2026: KOMMA99 starts SEO retainers at EUR 1,399 per month, and our package prices are on the packages page. Workshops and training typically start in the high three-figure range. A serious agency gives you a clear scope with a price after a first conversation.
What makes an AI agency different from a classic agency?
Classic agencies sell hours and campaigns; AI agencies build systems: content production, lead qualification or customer care keep running automatically while your team reviews instead of produces. The honest test: ask the agency which AI systems it runs in its own operations - whoever sells AI without running it is a classic agency with a new label.
How do I check whether an agency actually delivers on AI?
Three verifiable signals: first, systems of their own in daily production (ask to see them, not hear about them); second, concrete cases with traceable numbers instead of logo walls; third, transparency about prices and limits - a good agency also tells you where AI will not (yet) help you. Our free check gives you a first read on your own AI visibility.
