a system instead of a campaign.

nichtdeintyp is a young fashion label from Germany - urban, hip-hop-shaped, with attitude. when we joined, the brand was at the start and needed everything: visual identity, merchandise design, social media presence, community.

the streetwear scene doesn't forgive when something is off. those who aren't credible simply get ignored. we needed a brand that holds up in the scene and still visibly stands apart from the rest.

on top: tight budget, lots of ambition, no compromise on visual quality.

we co-built the brand from the ground up - not as an external service provider, but as an extended in-house team.

the branding: visually reduced, with a clear edge. no decoration, just statements. a visual language that works in the scene and carries on social.

the merchandise: prints, cuts and details consistently derived from brand attitude. products you want to wear, not just try on.

the social strategy: content that fits the audience - direct, unfiltered, no glossy filter. the goal was never reach for reach's sake, but a community that comes along.

four phases, from foundation to scale.

  1. brand foundation & identity

    6 weeks

    building the brand identity from zero: positioning in the streetwear scene, tone and brand attitude. reduced design system with a clear stance. authenticity in the hip-hop community as a non-negotiable core.

  2. visual design & merchandise

    8 weeks

    developing the full product line - print designs, cuts, details - out of the brand identity. no overloaded graphics, just clear statements. lookbooks and product visuals for social. wearability and quality despite a tight budget.

  3. social strategy & content

    4 weeks

    authentic social strategy for the audience. content production with photo, video and storytelling that works in the scene. platform-specific formats for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. direct communication without artificial gloss.

  4. community & launch

    ongoing

    building an engaged community instead of chasing reach. launch campaign with focus on scene multipliers and real brand advocates. continuous content production and community management. organic growth through stance and consistency.
